Our debut album

“Absolutely beautiful playing all around, musical, sensitive to colors and attentive to details. Really enjoyed listening to this wonderful trio. Bravo all!”
“Gorgeous playing. The commitment to this music and to your ensemble playing is so deep that you’re making it look and sound effortless. Your trio has such chemistry – you really have a wonderful sense for each other’s musical voice, and in turn come together with a stunning cohesiveness. The blend was astonishing – lines were woven together seamlessly in timing and timbre between the instruments. This performance was a joy to hear!”
“I was so impressed by the mood and character you were able to create especially for the Brahms. You all play wonderfully and react so well to each other.”

About
The Quantum Clarinet Trio – winner of the third prize at the 2020 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition (USA) – met for the first time in 2013 at the University Mozarteum of Salzburg. There, the three young musicians studied the main repertoire written for this ensemble under the guidance of Prof. Alois Brandhofer and Prof. Wolfgang Redik. Their special musical chemistry encouraged the trio to continue their artistic activity together from 2019 on.
Between 2022 and 2023, the Quantum Clarinet Trio was supported by the Commissioner for Culture and Media of the Federal Republic of Germany and the “Neustart Kultur” program.
The ensemble has participated in the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) since 2021, where they receive regular lessons from important musical personalities including Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl, Patrick Judt, and Kathryn Stott.
Since 2019, the Quantum Clarinet Trio has been ensemble in residence at the Moulin d’Andé Centre Culturel et Artistique in Normandie, France.
The ensemble values musical communication above all, and as such they are committed to sharing with audiences the context and stories behind the music they play.
Their repertoire includes masterpieces dedicated to the clarinet-cello-piano trio over the centuries, rediscovered treasures that were hidden in music history, and unique contemporary compositions that push the limits of their instruments.
Regular performers on the international chamber music scene, the Quantum Clarinet Trio bring with them a wealth of cultural and musical experience that is constantly growing and evolving. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the invention of the radio, the ensemble, together with the soprano Simone Kermes, produced a radio show commissioned by the Brandenburg Festival. Concerts have brought the musicians to the Museo Teatrale Alla Scala in Milano, Sale Apollinee in the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Societa del Quartetto in Bergamo, Grafenegg in Austria, OperaEstate Festival Veneto, and Schonberg Hall in The Hague, where they played a concert for the Dutch RadioWest.
